By booking a tour with Happy Feet Travellers , you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, along with the tour itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, and cancellation policy.
1. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed only after the required booking amount is received.
The balance amount must be paid by the due date communicated by the Company.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without any refunds.
Prices are subject to change until the booking is confirmed.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation charges will be applicable as per the Cancellation Policy published for the respective tour.
No refund will be provided for:
No-show
Late arrival
Missing the departure
Voluntarily leaving the tour midway
Unused services including hotels, transport, meals, sightseeing, or activities.
Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed within 5-10 working days after applicable deductions.
3. Tour Itinerary
Every itinerary is planned carefully; however, changes may become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Weather conditions
Landslides
Road closures
Traffic
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Political disturbances
Vehicle breakdowns
Safety concerns
Force majeure events
Happy Feet Travellers reserves the right to modify, rearrange, postpone, or cancel any part of the itinerary in the interest of safety and operational requirements.
4. Transportation
Road Transport
Vehicle type will be provided based on group size.
Vehicle seating is allocated by the tour coordinator.
Front seats are not included as part of the standard package and cannot be guaranteed.
Where feasible, seat rotation will be followed to provide all travellers with a fair opportunity to sit in different parts of the vehicle.
Travellers who wish to reserve a specific seat (subject to availability) may do so by paying ₹500 per seat per day. Seat reservations must be requested and confirmed at the time of booking and cannot be added once the tour begins.
Guests requiring a particular seat due to a genuine medical or mobility condition must inform the Company before booking. The Company may request reasonable supporting documentation where necessary to assess whether the request can be accommodated. While every effort will be made, specific seating cannot be guaranteed in all cases.Arrival and departure timings are approximate and may vary due to road, traffic, weather, or other operational conditions..
Flights
Happy Feet Travellers acts only as a booking facilitator.
We are not responsible for:
Flight delays
Flight cancellations
Rescheduling
Missed connections
Airline operational issues
Baggage handling
Airline overbooking
Any additional expenses arising due to airline decisions shall be borne by the traveller unless specifically stated otherwise and flight carriers charges apply.
Train Travel
Train operations are governed entirely by Indian Railways.
The Company is not responsible for:
Waiting list tickets
Seat allocation
Delays
Cancellations
Platform changes
Coach changes
Missed trains due to passenger delay.
Due to the computerized booking system, guests must travel using the seats assigned to them. Happy Feet Travellers cannot guarantee specific seat assignments. If guests do not receive their preferred seat, Happy Feet Travellers cannot make changes.
5. Hotels & Accommodation
Happy Feet Travellers generally provides Twin/Double Sharing Rooms, which may be AC or Non-AC as per tour inclusions. For some economy tours, Happy Feet Travellers provides Triple or Quad sharing rooms, as mentioned in the tour inclusions.
Room allocation is subject to hotel availability.
Triple sharing may include an extra mattress.
Hotel check-in and check-out timings must be followed.
Room views, floor preference, bed type, or room numbers cannot be guaranteed.
6. Meals
Meals will be served only as mentioned in the itinerary with set menu, If a guest does not like or choose to eat the provided menu, they will need to pay for their own food at their own expense.
Local cuisine may differ in taste and style.
Special dietary requests will be communicated wherever possible but cannot be guaranteed.
No refund will be provided for skipped meals.
All our restaurants have drinking water facilities. If guests prefer not to drink the provided water, they can purchase bottled drinking water at their own cost.
7. Traveller Responsibilities
Every traveller is responsible for:
Carrying valid identity proof and required documents.
Reporting on time at pickup locations.
Following instructions issued by the tour coordinator.
Respecting fellow travellers, drivers, hotel staff, and local communities.
Taking care of personal belongings.
The Company shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
If the timings are not followed by the traveller, Happy Feet Travellers reserves rights to proceed the tour without waiting. Any additional charges incurred in rejoining the tour will be borne by the Traveller and no Compensation will be provided by Happy Feet Travellers.
8. Health & Fitness
Some tours involve long road journeys, trekking, walking on uneven terrain, or high-altitude travel.
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.
Any existing medical condition, allergy, pregnancy, mobility issue, or health concern that may affect the tour should be disclosed by travellers before booking so Happy Feet Travellers could take precautionary measures.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in denial of participation, or discontinuation if considered necessary to proceed with the tour and all charges there on shall be borne by the traveller himself/herself.
9. Customer Conduct
Happy Feet Travellers is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and responsible travel experience while respecting nature, local communities, and fellow travellers.
Every traveller is expected to:
- Treat fellow travellers, Tour Coordinators, drivers, hotel staff, guides, local residents, and service providers with courtesy and respect.
- Follow all instructions issued by the Tour Coordinator during the tour.
- Respect local customs, traditions, laws, and cultural sentiments.
- Travel responsibly by protecting the environment and avoiding littering, vandalism, noise pollution, or any activity that harms wildlife, forests, mountains, water bodies, heritage sites, or public property.
- Dispose of waste only in designated bins or carry it back where disposal facilities are unavailable.
- Refrain from consuming illegal substances or engaging in any unlawful activity.
- Avoid abusive, threatening, discriminatory, violent, offensive, intoxicated, or disruptive behaviour.
- Avoid any conduct that causes inconvenience, discomfort, or safety concerns for fellow travellers or affects the overall group experience.
Happy Feet Travellers follows a zero-tolerance policy towards nuisance, indiscipline, environmental damage, harassment, misconduct, or behaviour that disrupts the harmony of the group or the places we visit.
The Company reserves the right to refuse participation, remove a traveller from the tour, or terminate the booking without any refund or compensation if, in the opinion of the Tour Coordinator or the Company, the traveller's conduct endangers others, damages property or the environment, violates applicable laws, or breaches these Terms & Conditions. Any additional expenses arising from such removal, including return travel, accommodation, medical expenses, penalties, or damages, shall be borne solely by the traveller.
10. Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs
Consumption of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
Guests consuming alcohol must do so responsibly and doing it in public spaces is not allowed.
The Company may refuse participation in activities to intoxicated guests if safety or group comfort is affected.
11. Adventure Activities
Adventure activities operated by third-party vendors are subject to their own rules, safety standards, and terms.
Participation is voluntary and at the traveller's own risk.
The Company is not responsible for incidents arising from activities conducted by independent operators.
12. Delays & Missed Services
If a traveller misses any transport, sightseeing, meals, or activities due to personal delay or negligence, the resulting expenses shall be borne by the traveller.
The group itinerary will not be delayed for individual travellers.
13. Luggage & Valuables
Travellers are solely responsible for their luggage and valuables throughout the tour.
Do not leave valuables unattended.
The Company shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage.
14. Photography & Marketing
Photographs and videos may be captured during the tour for promotional purposes.
Travellers who do not wish to appear in promotional content must inform the Company in writing before the tour begins.
15. Force Majeure
Happy Feet Travellers shall not be held liable for delays, modifications, or cancellations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Floods
Earthquakes
Landslides
Epidemics or pandemics
Government restrictions
Political unrest
War
Terrorist activities
Transportation strikes
Extreme weather
Any additional expenses arising due to such events shall be borne by the traveller unless otherwise stated.
16. Limitation of Liability
Happy Feet Travellers acts as a tour organizer and coordinates services provided by transport operators, hotels, airlines, restaurants, activity providers, and other third-party vendors.
While reasonable care is taken in selecting service providers, the Company shall not be liable for acts, omissions, delays, defaults, or operational failures of independent third parties beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
17. Changes by the Company
The Company reserves the right to:
Change vehicle type.
Change hotels with equivalent alternatives.
Modify sightseeing.
Rearrange itinerary.
Change departure timings.
Refuse or cancel bookings where necessary for operational or safety reasons.
18. Customer Acceptance
By paying any booking amount, every traveller confirms that they have:
Read these Terms & Conditions.
Read the Cancellation Policy.
Read the tour itinerary.
Understood the tour inclusions and exclusions.
Accepted all policies published by Happy Feet Travellers.
Failure to read these documents shall not exempt any traveller from these Terms & Conditions.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
